The Atlanta Braves will try to even up the series with the Dodgers today when they play in Game 2 of the NLDS at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, CA. First Pitch for this game is scheduled for 8 p.m. EST, with coverage provided by FS1.
LA took an early lead with a pair of runs in the fourth inning and extended it to 5-1 with three more in the bottom of the sixth. Atlanta tacked on two more in the ninth but fell short of a comeback.
Blake Snell is scheduled to start for the Dodgers today. Snell started nine regular-season games, going 4-1 with a 1.90 ERA and a 1.10 WHIP while teams hit .203 against him. He went 2-1 in four home starts with a 2.14 ERA and a .208 OBA. In 96 career at-bats against the Braves lineup, Atlanta hit .198 against him.
Atlanta has yet to announce who the starter will be today (as of this writing). With two of their five listed starting pitchers on the IL, they may have to go with a bullpen day once again. But that can’t be considered ideal after relievers gave up five runs yesterday.

Not knowing who Atlanta is putting on the mound is an issue here, but with how the Braves and Dodgers have been playing, I feel safe in saying the final score will be UNDER the total (7.5). Atlanta has been hitting just .206 at the plate in the playoffs and just .247 since the All-Star Break. Against Snell, I don’t see them doing much damage, if any at all. LA had eight hits and five runs yesterday and will likely do the same today. But I don’t see the Braves chipping in at all.
