With 6 wins, 8 draws and 8 losses, Torino is once again in the middle of the table, but this season without its star striker who was out due to a long-term injury. It is competing in the middle of the table as it has done in many previous Serie A editions. With close matches and difficulties in finding a replacement of the quality of the Colombian Duván Zapata, Torino has had great deficiencies in scoring goals this season, but it has compensated for this with a solid and organized defense that makes few mistakes, typical of Italian football.

The present of the team led by Vanoli is good, since at least it avoided losing in January, although it drew 4 times. The last home game was a well-deserved 2-0 home victory against Cagliari with a double from the Scot Admas who has occasionally had flashes of brilliance with Torino.

They will face a tough test, however, when they face Atalanta in Bergamo on Saturday having only had two days' rest since their Champions League game against Barcelona in Spain midweek.
