We could be in for an incredible English Premier League match as Aston Villa host Manchester City at Villa Park. After struggling at the start of the season, the Villans have found some form. Of their last five competitive fixtures, Villa have won four and drawn one, including a fantastic 6-0 victory over Fenerbahce. City are also in wonderful form. Aside from their 4-2 defeat against the European Champions Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League, the Blues have won every game they've played this season.
Both of these sides score plenty. City have scored an incredible 23 goals over their last six matches. The problem with the Citizens is that they're prone to defensive lapses from time to time which invariably costs them a goal. City have only kept one clean sheet in their last five matches. Villa have scored 15 goals across their last five competitive games and again have trouble keeping clean sheets regularly, they've only had three shutouts since the start of the season.
We're expecting goals in this one and plenty of them. For our prediction, it's difficult to pick the right market. City are clear favorites to win and while we think they will, it's difficult to rule out Villa getting something from this game. The odds on the City win don't offer much value, so instead we're looking at the total goals market. We're going for over 3.5 goals in this one.
