On Friday, one of seven English Premier League games comes our way from Emirates Stadium, where the hosts will take to the field for the second time in less than a week. On Tuesday, the Gunners just about got over the line in the EFL Cup, beating Crystal Palace on penalties following a 1-1 tie in regulation time. That result followed a 0-1 win away to Everton. 

It was also low-scoring stuff for the Seagulls last time out. Fabian Hurzeler's men tied 0-0 with Sunderland. Against the Black Cats, they huffed and puffed, but could not blow the house of their opponents down, which is becoming a common theme, with the visitors failing to win any of their last four league games, two of which they've failed to score in.

The early betting ahead of this game suggests that we should see a few goals go in at Arsenal, but I'm not sure I agree with that. Let's be honest. Mikel Arteta's men do not take a cavalier approach. In fact, they're quite boring, often opting to take the sting out of games before anything else.
