Leaders Arsenal have a chance to stamp their authority on the Premier League title race when they host mid-table Brantford at the Emirates on Wednesday evening.

The Gunners were held to a 1-1 draw at second place Chelsea at the weekend, despite having a numerical advantage for the entire second half. Mikel Merino's header was enough to secure a bit, but Mikel Arteta will be ruing his side's inability to turn their player advantage into more points. 

Brentford continued their superb home form with a 3-1 victory over lowly Burnley on Saturday, with striker Thiago scoring two more goals to take his tally to 11 for the season.

However, the Bees' form away from the GTech Stadium has been distinctly less impressive - they have lost five of their six league away games so far.

Arsenal may have the best defensive record in the division, but they've now conceded in each of their three Premier League games.

So whilst the Gunners are (quite rightly) big favorites to win on Wednesday night, we think Brentford can cause the home side some serious defensive headaches. 

Thiago is in blistering goal-scoring form, whilst fellow forwards Kevin Schade and Dango Ouattara are also enjoying fine seasons. Given those facts, plus Arsenal's suddenly slightly vulnerable backline, we think there is every chance that both teams score in this one.
