With a sweep this weekend, the Arizona Diamondbacks could get their record back to .500 (currently 66-69). But sweeping the Dodgers in Los Angeles is easier said than done. Game One of this series is scheduled for tonight at 10:10 p.m. EST. The Diamondbacks went 2-2 during their series vs. the Brewers in Milwaukee this week, but come into this series having won their last two games. LA is also coming in hot after sweeping the Reds this week and outscoring them 18-4.

Arizona is going with Zac Gallen to start the day. He’s gone 9-13 this season in 27 starts with a 5.13 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and .251 OBA. On the road, he’s 6-6 in 13 starts with a 5.07 ERA and a .251 OBA. However, in August, he has gone 2-1 in five starts with a 3.10 ERA. The Dodgers will send Blake Snell to the mound to start. Snell has gone 3-2 in six starts with a 1.97 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and a .252 OBA. He has been especially lethal at home, where he is 3-0 with a .90 ERA and .240 OBA. He has not been credited with an earned run at home since his March 27 start vs. the Tigers.
