Once again, the D-backs and Dodgers played one of the most entertaining games of the season. The reigning champions won this time in Los Angeles, taking Game 2 4-3 with a walk-off sac fly by Muncy to snap the Dodgers' four-game losing streak.

However, the Dodgers, who had started as -235 favorites, failed to cover the run line. Yamoto pitched a terrific game, so much so that he went no-hitter until the seventh inning. The Japanese ace seems to receive more support from the fans than offensive support from the Dodgers this season. Leaving the game up 1-0, Vesia managed to give Scott a save opportunity, which he squandered. Carroll hit another home run to put the D-backs up 3-1, but Miller couldn't close the game out for Arizona either, and lost it in the 10th inning.

May will return for another opportunity that Roberts will be giving him to start the game. May pitched a quality outing in his last start against the Angels, in a game that the Dodgers lost 2-6.
