The Arizona Diamondbacks (58-52, 27-30 Away) will try to make it two in a row when they face the Cleveland Guardians (56-55, 27-27 Home) at Progressive Field today. Fans can follow the game on MLB.TV once the game gets underway at 7:15 p.m. EST.

With a 4-1 win in Game 1 of the series yesterday, the D-backs have won three in a row and five of eight on their current road trip. Cleveland was hoping to turn things around after going 2-4 on their recent road trip, but fell short with the lineup struggling to make contact.

It will be interesting to see how Arizona approaches today’s game with Kohl Drake getting the start on the mound. In his first two starts, they pulled him after five and four innings. He gave up just four hits and one run in his debut (7-21, vs. A’s), but got tagged for five hits, including two home runs, and four runs against the Nationals in his second (7-26).

Cleveland is scheduled to give Parker Messick the start. Messick is 8-6 in 21 starts with a 2.59 ERA and a 1.04 WHIP. He’s gone 3-2 in 11 home starts with a 2.95 ERA and a .219 OBA.
