Cleveland Guardians vs Arizona Diamondbacks Prediction & Picks - MLB

The Cleveland Guardians (67-44) are hoping to avoid a 3-game losing streak as they host the Arizona Diamondbacks (60-52) on Monday evening. The Guardians lost their last 2 games to the Orioles to split their 4-game series. Arizona is coming off a nice comeback victory over the Pirates and rookie sensation Paul Skenes. They have now won 8 of their last 10 games and seem to be rounding into form. This will be the 1st meeting between these teams this season and will conclude the Guardians 6-game road trip. On the mound, Zac Allen (9-5. 3.56) will go for the Diamondbacks. Gallen has been sensational over his last 3 starts. He has gone a combined 17 innings and allowed just 4 runs while striking out 16 batters and picking up 3 wins. On the other side, Logan Allen (8-4, 5.67) will be tasked with limiting the Diamondbacks lineup at the plate. Allen has not made it through 5 innings yet over his last 3 starts. He has given up 11 runs in just 11.2 innings of work. He has struck out 17 during that same span but that does not make up for the earned runs he has allowed.
