Buffalo Bills vs Arizona Cardinals Prediction & Picks - NFL

The Buffalo Bills will begin their 1st season without standout wide receiver Stefon Diggs who left for Houston over the offseason. Josh Allen has a couple of young receivers in Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir to go with veterans Curtis Samuel and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. It will be interesting to see if Allen misses Diggs or if he will have more freedom to spread the ball around. The defense will look to make it 5 of the last 6 seasons inside the top 10 overall. Sean McDermott has always had strong defenses but this season will be much more difficult. Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde are both gone from the secondary, along with Tre’Davious Floyd.

Arizona got a nice grab in the draft with Marvin Harrison Jr. He should provide Kyler Murray with a weapon comparable to DeAndre Hopkins in his younger years. James Conner is back to give them a boost in the backfield and Trey McBride should help as an emerging tight end. The defense was a work in progress last season but they did a nice job in addressing concerns over the offseason. Bilal Nichols and Justin Jones were brought in to help with the defensive line along with linebacker Mack Wilson Sr. The secondary was also bolstered with the addition of Sean Murphy-Bunting. If they can all stay healthy, they may be the most improved defense.
