América drew all three of its Leagues Cup matches, and winning two of them on penalties and losing another didn't help them advance to the quarterfinals of this cup. Given the Mexican club's demands, and having previously lost the "champion of champions" trophy against Toluca, the pressure will soon be on for América manager Andre Jardine, who hasn't won a match in 90 minutes since beating Tijuana on August 16.
América returns from the United States with the relief of facing Querétaro. No Liga MX team has had a worse start to the season than Querétaro; not only did they lose their first three Liga MX matches, but they also added three additional defeats in the Leagues Cup.
