AC Milan will host Pisa at the San Siro on Friday night in a Serie A Matchday 8 fixture that pits the league leaders against the struggling newcomers. The Rossoneri enter the contest in high spirits after their thrilling 2–1 comeback win over Fiorentina, while Pisa continue to search for their first league victory since earning promotion back to the top flight after 34 years.

In their last outing, Milan showcased their resilience by overturning a one-goal deficit to claim all three points.
