Oostende réalise un début de saison plutôt satisfaisant. Après une défaite lors du premier match contre Anderlecht (2-0), le club belge a remporté ses deux matchs suivants (2-1 contre Malines puis 1-3 à Charleroi). La semaine dernière, la marche était trop haute et Oostende s’est incliné contre La Gantoise (1-3). Son adversaire du jour, Saint-Trond, réalise un moins bon début de saison et n’a toujours pas connu le moindre succès. Après trois nuls de suite (1-1 contre l’Union SG, 1-1 contre La Gantoise et 0-0 face à Courtrai), les coéquipiers de Shinji Kagawa, ancien de Dortmund, viennent de s’incliner 0-3 contre Anderlecht lors du dernier match. Un nouveau match difficile les attend avec ce déplacement à l’Ouest de la Belgique !
