Taking place this Friday there’s a pivotal EPL game, one that could completely change the fate of several teams in and around the danger zone. This is also a game between two of the three worst defensive teams, West Ham and Wolves, who will meet at London Stadium.
This really is a massive game for both. The Hammers are just one point off 17th-place Tottenham, so a win would be ideal. It isn’t totally impossible for the visitors to survive, despite their shocking position, but if they’re going to do that then they’ll need to start winning every game. A win here for The Old Gold would definitely make it interesting, and both sides will surely see this as a better game than any to get the points.
Especially the hosts, who play in front of a passionate home crowd, as well as almost being within touching distance of safety. Nuno’s men are yearning for a win, especially after the disappointment in the cup, so they’ll not be sitting off, and this suits Wolves to play on the break.
In both home matches of a similar nature and their recent games leading into this clash, West Ham have been giving away a multitude of chances, unsurprisingly conceding lots of goals. This includes an xG of 3.01 hosting Leeds last time out.

Our West Ham vs Wolves Prediction
It must be said, The Wanderers have really improved offensively as of late, netting multiple goals past Liverpool, Villa and Arsenal, whilst also scoring twice in their last away game. In addition, West Ham have been caught out too much in games of this type, giving away lots of chances, resulting in more than one goal conceded in each.
Wolves have already exploited a weak Hammers side by scoring multiple goals in both meetings this season, in the league and cup. With all of this in mind, as well as the added pressure to succeed in this game, the early odds for more than one Wolves goal should be much shorter.
Our West Ham vs Wolves Pick: Wolves to Score Over 1.5 Goals.
