The New York Giants will try to win their first home game of the season when they host the Washington Commanders at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey with kickoff for 1 p.m. ET.
It will be the second meeting this season for these two division rivals. Washington won the first in Week 2, 21-18. Jayden Daniels was able to get the offense moving with the help of a 100+ yard day from running back Brian Robinson Jr., but they couldn't finish a drive off and settled for seven field goals. Since then, Daniels has continued to develop and has become a heavy favorite to win Offensive Rookie of the Year.
As for the Giants, the offense has struggled throughout the season. Daniel Jones has had a hard time getting the passing game on track. He had one of his better performances of the season last week in the loss to the Steelers, completing 63.2% of his passes for 264 yards and a pick. But the offense has been at its best when rookie Tyrone Tracy Jr. gets 18+ carries. He paced the run game with 100+ yards in both games, where he had 18+ carries. While they went 1-1 in those two games, they were competitive in both.

Daniel Jones had one of his better games of the season in Week 2 vs. the Commanders. But while Daniels has grown since then, Jones has struggled to become the reliable, productive quarterback the Giants need. The emergence of Tyrone Tracy Jr. is the one bright spot for the Giants offense, but it remains to be seen if he'll clear the concussion protocol in time to play Sunday. The Giants' defense is one of the tougher in the NFL, but they'll be on the field so much that they'll wear down in the second half. That is when the Commanders will pull away.
