Despite the loss, Angel Reese made history by collecting her sixth double-double in nine games, contributing 11 points and 10 rebounds. They also maintained their top spot in the conference, 0.5 games ahead of New York.
Washington Mystics, meanwhile, are struggling to win consistently this season. They recovered from their 87-97 defeat against the Sparks to defeat Chicago Sky 90-72 on Tuesday night. Shakira Austin had an exceptional outing for the Mystics, scoring 17 points, whereas Iriafen contributed 15 points and 11 rebounds.
