The #2 Duke Blue Devils (26-3) are looking to get one step closer to clinching the regular season ACC title. They are 17-1 with Clemson just one game back. Clemson also holds the tie-breaker as they handed Duke their lone loss in conference play back in early February. Since that loss, Duke has won 6 straight games and done so in blowout fashion. They have been winning games by an average of 31.6ppg. Their closest game was against Virginia on the road where they won by 18. Tonight, they face off with the Wake Forest Demon Deacons (20-9), who played this Duke team tough at home in their previous meeting. Duke ultimately won by 7 but after being up by 12 at the half, were unable to pull away like they have in their last 6 games. Wake Forest has been playing around .500 ball since the loss to Duke. They avoided a losing streak in their last game by defeating Notre Dame. They had lost their previous 2 games to Virginia and Florida State. The key to victory for Wake has been keeping their opponents under the 75-point mark. They do not have the offensive fire power to keep up but when the defense clamps down, they have been able to compete with anyone.
