The team that made the biggest effort during the first two NHL playoffs’ series was Edmonton Oilers, as they were able to win the first two games of the series despite playing them as ab away team. With that in mind, Edmonton is expected to take advantage of that situation to try to finish with the series as early as possible after scoring four or more goals during their last three games in a row.

With that in mind, it must be noted that Edmonton Oilers followed the same pattern in the second game of the series, as they couldn’t be offensively effective during the first period. However, during the rest of the game, players like Darnell Nurse, Leon Draisaitl and Evan Bouchard were able to put big pressure on Vegas with a constant generation of dangerous opportunities.

On Vegas Golden Knights’ side, this team was able to show a radically different performance during the second game of the series as Ivan Barbashev, Noah Hanifin, Victor Olofsson and Tanner Pearson were able to shoot 4 times on target each. Nonetheless, it must be noted that Olofsson was the only one who was able to score in such a difficult confrontation, so he’s expected to take the offensive leadership of this team.
