Our North Carolina vs VCU Rams Prediction
North Carolina may be the small favorite in this game; however, VCU looks to be the best betting option. A lot of this has to do with the fact that North Carolina will remain without their top scorer in the NCAA tournament. Caleb Wilson was averaging 19.8 points per game before his injury back in early February, and the Tar Heels have not had as consistent a scorer since.
VCU, on the other hand, finished the season riding a six-game winning streak. The Rams' main scoring comes from two players, but they also have seven players in total who average more than 7.0 points per game.
Both defenses have been solid this season, each allowing just under 72.0 points per game. That said, the Tar Heels have been far less consistent. Therefore, given that North Carolina enters the NCAA tournament off two straight losses, and still without their best player, our VCU Rams vs North Carolina Tar Heels prediction is: VCU Rams +2.5.All tips are fully researched and given in good faith, but profits cannot be guaranteed.
