On Sunday, the Vancouver Whitecaps will get back down to business in Major League Soccer after being involved in the CONCACAF Champions Cup during the week. Due to their continental involvements, the hosts haven't had much time to rest and prepare ahead of this game, which should leave the visitors feeling more confident than most teams that visit BC Place. What will also fill the visiting players with confidence is the fact that the Whitecaps were hammered by the Seattle Sounders in that CCC game during the week.
The Loons lost last weekend, but they didn't play too badly, while they can certainly be a threat on the break, especially if Tomas Chancalay plays well. Having tied with Austin and beaten Cincinnati already this term, who knows, the visitors may just fancy themselves to be the second team that upsets the BC Place crowd this week.

Our Vancouver Whitecaps vs Minnesota United Prediction
As mentioned above, the visitors should be bouyed by the fact that the Sounders thrived in Vancouver during the week, and one visiting player in particular who should fancy himself to hurt the hosts on the break is frequent shooter Tomas Chancalay, who has fired off ten shots in three MLS games so far this season. The Argentine has looked lively during the early weeks of the season, so much so that he really does look a little leniently priced to shoot on target at least once against a side that is far from well rested.
Our Vancouver Whitecaps vs Minnesota Pick: Tomas Chancalay 1+ Shots on Target.
