The Vancouver Canucks (15-17-3) will head into Xfinity Mobile Arena on Monday evening to take on the Philadelphia Flyers (17-10-7) for the 1st time this season.
The Canucks are currently 7th in the Pacific Division, but have gotten hot lately, winning 4 straight games. In those 4 wins, they have outscored their opponents by a combined score of 14-6. Their latest win came via shootouts on the road in Boston. Liam Ohgren scored 1 goal in regulation and ended up scoring the winning shootout goal as well. He and the Canucks now look to finish their road trip undefeated, with the final stop being here in Philadelphia.
It has been an ugly December for the Flyers. They have lost 7 of their 10 games to this point and are on the verge of a 3-game losing streak. Over their last 2 games, they have looked nothing like the team they have been all season. In both, Samuel Ersson allowed 4 goals.
