Alexander Bublik of Kazakhstan will try to add another title on Tuesday, but he has to go through the upset-minded Valentin Royer, who has been on a giant-killing spree at the 2025 Hangzhou Open.
Bublik is the hand-down favorite entering the championship match at -380. Royer offers a more lucrative payout of $285 per $100 bet if he pulls off another upset in his breakout tournament.
Current Form:
Bublik eased through to the final of the Hangzhou Open with a clinical straight-set victory over Wu Yibing of China 6-3 6-3. Bublik fired 19 aces and won 91 percent of his first serves to seize complete control against the man who upset former world No.1 Daniil Medvedev. Bublik improved his hard-court record in 2025 to 11-9.
Royer pulled off another upset in the semifinal, 6-3, 6-2, against his compatriot Corentin Moutet. The French qualifier has now beaten four ATP top-100 players in consecutive games. He defeated Aleksandar Kovacevic, Andrey Rublev, Learner Tien, and now Moutet, who ranks No.39 in the world.

Our Valentin Royer vs Alexander Bublik Prediction
Boasting a 100 percent hold percentage after three matches, Alexander Bublik is in terrific form to win his fourth ATP title this year and first on the hard court. After dropping the first set in his match against Aleksandar Vukic, Bublik has been in cruise control in the last two rounds, blasting Dalibor Svrcina 6-1, 6-1 before wearing down Wu Yibing 6-3, 6-3. Royer will be playing his 7th match in 8 days in this tournament. This means that Royer will have to dig deep again to overcome arguably the hottest player on the ATP Tour right now, not Carlos Alcaraz. To beat Bublik, the Frenchman will have to win a service break against the Kazakh, which Wu, Svrcina, and Vukic failed to accomplish.
Royer has been amazing in this tournament. He has a bright future on the tour, especially if he sustains his upward trajectory. However, Bublik is on another level right now. Mentally, the Kazakh has been laser sharp, always coming through with the big shots in crucial situations. And that newly unlocked grit and grind attitude will power him past Royer in this championship match.
Fearless Forecast: Alexander Bubik defeats Valentin Royer 6-4, 7-5
