The United States and Turkey will face each other in a friendly match next Saturday at Rentschler Field, which generated even betting action between the CONCACAF and UEFA teams.

Turkey and the United States have a history when it comes to friendly matches. These teams have crossed paths three times in the past, all this millennium, and the result of those matches was always 2-1. The last two times in 2010 and 2014, favored the United States, and the previous time, Turkey defeated them in the 2003 Confederations Cup.

However, the United States, led by Argentine coach Pochettino, enters this friendly on a somewhat disappointing note, having failed to defend their CONCACAF Nations League title. More concerning was their semi-final loss to Panama in a very poor performance in March.

Pochettino, however, has time to correct his course, but victory against the Turks is not guaranteed either, because, for various reasons such as injuries or decisions to focus on their clubs, there are certain key players from the United States who will not play on Saturday.
