Donovan Mitchell boasted after Game 1 about how difficult it would be for the Raptors to guard both him and Harden. This held true while the series was being played in Cleveland. However, Raptors coach Darko Rajaković is a wily veteran. He said he would review the films from the first two games to make adjustments for the game in Toronto. He kept his promise: the Raptors held the Cavaliers to 105 points in Game 3 and 89 in Game 4, tying the series at two games apiece. This home-court advantage series continues Wednesday at Rocket Arena.
In Game 4, the Cavaliers' own defense kept them in the game, and in fact, Donovan Mitchell had a three-pointer that missed, which could have tied the series in the final 25 minutes. It was a miserable night for the Cavs' superstar, who went 6-for-24 from the field and attempted 12 three-pointers, making only 4. Veteran James Harden acknowledged the missed opportunity of not winning Game 4 and, reflecting on his experience, spoke about the nature of the NBA playoffs, describing this series as now a best-of-three.

But at Scotiabank Arena, the Raptors' morale has clearly rebounded, as Toronto has now strung together two playoff wins for the first time in the last four years.
The first-round series in these playoffs has been more hard-fought than expected on paper; the Raptors played a physical yet very clean game, the perfect combination for defense in Game 4. All this while RJ Barrett scored 18 points and Murray-Boyles added 15 more along with 10 rebounds.
