Tigres UANL will try to stage a comeback against FC Cincinnati in Leg 2 of the 2026 CONCACAF Champions Cup Round of 16. The Mexican Liga MX side suffered a shocking 3-0 defeat on Thursday night against Cincinnati, who had Kevin Denkey scoring a brace. The visitors looked totally devoid of ideas, recording seven shots with only one of those hitting the target. All the pressure will be on them to win on Thursday night.

FC Cincinnati, on the other side of the field, produced an impressively dominant performance to gain a foothold in the quarterfinals. The MLS side had four shots on target, converting three of those into goals. Pat Noonan and his men will now travel to Mexico with less pressure to win, which could work in their favour. However, their 6-1 defeat against New England last weekend could be a cause for concern.
