25-year-old Thiago Agustin Tirante is on the verge of his first ever semi-final at an ATP 1000 event. On Friday, the Argentine will look to record a career-best effort by defeating Arthur Fils in the quarters of the tournament in Cincinnati, where he's stepped on the gas over the last week or so, defeating some very decent competitors. Arthur Fils is strongly fancied by the early betting market, and as he's the higher-ranked player, who is more established at this level, it's easy to see why. However, it's not as easy to see why he's so short. Priced around the -400 mark, the Frenchman looks far from generously priced. Yes, he should be the favorite, but he shouldn't be that short, especially not against an improving player, who arrives in strong form.
