As a result of Seager's RBI single, the Rangers won the second inning of the series against the Pirates at PNC Park. The Pirates had another poor hitting day, collecting only five hits. The Pirates are already looking more than headed toward an inevitable last-place finish in the NL Central. Keller recorded his 10th RBI of the season and hasn't won since his first start of the season against the Marlins on March 28.
The Rangers are getting even with the Pirates for being swept at home by the Royals, but after winning the first game in Pittsburgh 6-2, 3-2 on Saturday, it's not all good news for the Rangers, who placed Jake Burger on the 10-day disabled list before Saturday.
There are several close betting games for Sunday, and the Rangers-Pirates game is one of them. The pitching duel will be between B. Falter for the Pirates and J. Leiter for the Rangers. The Texas native has a 4.43 ERA this season.
