After upsetting Auburn on Senior Night, No. 22 Texas A&M (21-9, 10-7) will try to end the regular season on a two-game win streak with a win over the LSU Tigers (14-16, 3-14) at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge, LA. The action will get underway at 4 p.m. ET with coverage on the SEC Network.
A few weeks ago, the Aggies were the No. 8 team in the nation, but after four losses, they had fallen to No. 22. With a game against No. 1Aurburn coming up, they looked destined to drop a fifth game in a row and would likely drop out of the top 25. But then they won (83-72), beating a No. 1 team for the first time in program history. The Aggies dominated the game from the start and led by double digits for much of the game. It was the wake-up call they needed; a well-timed ‘get right’ game. As for LSU, the struggle has been real for the Tigers throughout the conference part of their schedule (11-2 in non-conference games but 3-14 in SEC play). They had the unfortunate luck of facing five ranked teams to end the regular season, and they’ve gone 0-4 in the process, losing 95-64 to Kentucky on Tuesday.

Had Texas A&M not beaten Auburn, I’d lean towards betting on LSU because of how much the Aggies struggled during their four-game losing streak. But Texas A&M righted the ship vs. Auburn., and LSU has lost its last four.
