The Tennessee Titans (1-4) will try to make it two in a row Sunday when they travel out west to face the Raiders (1-4) at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. EST, and the game will be broadcast on Fox.
It has been a rough season for both teams. It was kind of expected with the Titans, as they were going with a rookie at quarterback in the second overall pick in the last draft, Cam Ward. But the Raiders' issues were a little more unexpected. Expectations were high with Pete Carroll taking over as head coach and the acquisition of Geno Smith at quarterback. Tack on drafting Ashton Jeanty with the No. 6 pick, and the Raiders' offense looked fantastic on paper. But the reality of the matter has been different. Smith went off for 362 yards in Week One, but the passing game has gone straight downhill since. He’s had multiple interceptions in three of his last four games, with a total of nine to just six touchdowns. Then again, the Titans' defense has only had three picks, so maybe facing Tennessee is the break he needs.
Or maybe it will be the break Ashton Jeanty needs to finally break out.

This is a tough one. How do you pick the winner of a game between two bad teams going nowhere? I’d lean towards the Raiders probably, since the Titans' comeback last week had as much to do with luck as it did the Titans' play. However, if Geno Smith has another three-interception day, even the Tennessee offense is bound to come away with some points. I don’t have confidence in either team stepping up and taking advantage of the other’s shortcomings. These are two poor teams that are likely to play a bad game, resulting in a relatively low score since neither will move the ball well.
