The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will try to end their losing streak at four games when they take on the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey as part of the Week 112 Sunday slate. Tampa Bay opened as just a one-point favorite, but the spread has shifted, and bettors can find them at -5.5 and -6 at online sportsbooks.
During their off-week, the Giants decided to bench their franchise quarterback, Daniel Jones. He and the offense have not played well throughout the season, so the move did not come as a surprise. But rather than turn to their No. 2 man and another former first-round pick, Drew Lock, the Giants are handing the ball to Tommy DeVito. DeVito was the emergency quarterback but probably got the nod since he started several games for the Giants as a rookie last season. So, he should be much more familiar with the offense than Lock.
Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers passing game has suffered the last couple of weeks, but there is a good chance superstar wide receiver Mike Evans will make his return after missing a few games due to a hamstring injury.

There is a chance this game will be fairly competitive, and that’s if the Bucs do not get Mike Evans back, they struggle to run the ball, and Baker Mayfield has a hard time getting the passing game on track. Against a decent Giants defense, that scenario is within the realm of possibility. But I wouldn’t count on it. Baker Mayfield and Mike Evans are going to go off on this defense. This game will be well in hand for Tampa Bay by halftime.
