In Hungary, the WTA 250 tournament in Budapest opens this week! In the first round, German Tamara Korpatsch and American Bernarda Pera will face off. Tamara Korpatsch has just taken part in the Bastad Challenger in Sweden, where she won her first two rounds against Ella Seidel (ranked 157th in the world) and Tamara Zidansek, benefiting from her withdrawal. She then lost to world No.165 Nuria Parrizas-Diaz in a 3-set match. These two victories must have reassured the German player, who was on a 6-match losing streak and whose most recent victory was her first-round win over Ashlyn Krueger at the French Open.
