Host nation Switzerland take on Iceland at Stadion Wankdorf in Bern on Sunday, with both sides needing a victory to boost their hopes of reaching the Euro 2025 quarter finals. The Swiss were hugely unlucky to lose 2-1 to Norway in their opening game. Iceland could have had no complaints following their opening game defeat to Finland. They were second best throughout and, in truth, the 0-1 scoreline flattered them slightly. Big improvements are needed, otherwise Þorsteinn Halldórsson's side face an early exit from the tournament.
