Turkey are set to take on Sweden at the Xiaomi Arena in Riga in the EuroBasket round of 16. The Turkish team entered the knockout stage as the best team in Group A, having won all five of their games. At the end of their participation, coach Ergin Ataman's team beat Serbia 95-90, with 28 points, 13 rebounds, and eight assists from center Alperen Sengun, the leader and captain.
