Lithuania will look to secure their qualification to the knockout rounds of the 2025 EuroBasket when they clash with Sweden on Wednesday morning. The Lithuanians started this tournament brilliantly with back-to-back victories against Great Britain and Montenegro. However, they were humbled on Saturday by the Germans in an 88-107 loss despite Rokas Jakubaitis scoring 20 points and assisting seven. They'll be eager to return to winning ways and pip Finland to the second spot.
Sweden, meanwhile, is in a bad position, setting the stage for a thrilling clash. The Swedes are fifth in the standings with five points from four matches. That's two points behind the second-placed Lithuania. They failed to build on their 19-point win against Great Britain after losing 81-87 to Montenegro on Monday. Sweden is now in a must-win position against the Lithuanians, and it will be interesting to see how they perform in their last group game.
