One of Saturday's English Premier League fixtures comes our way from Stadium of Light, where a Sunderland team that continues to impress takes on a Crystal Palace team that has started to flounder. The hosts really have done a fine job of adapting to life at the top level this season, and unless things take a major turn for the worst over the next few months, there seems little chance of a relegation scrap for the Black Cats. In other words, it's been a successful first season back in the EPL. Regis le Bris' men come into this game having lost just one of their last six league games.
In contrast, the Eagles have lost four of their last six EPL fixtures, as they continue to struggle without Eberechi Eze. For a while, Jean-Philippe Mateta and Ismaila Sarr were delivering the goods, the but the French forward has been nowhere near as effective as he was earlier in the season, while Sarr continues to be away on international duty, dramatically hampering Palace's ability to hurt teams. Can Oliver Glasner's men get their first league win since early December on Saturday? I doubt it.

In recent weeks, Brian Brobbey has really started to get up to speed for the Black Cats. He looked a serious threat against Leeds just before Christmas, hitting the bar on home soil, while he found the net away to Spurs a fortnight ago. Having got himself into lots of promising shooting positions of late, pulling the trigger plenty, the Dutch forward shouldn't find it too tricky to come by chances against a Palace side that has struggled defensively in recent times.
The visitors have been conceding lots of goals on the road of late, so do not be surprised if the in-form Brobbey, who continues to look hungry for goals, threatens on Saturday. I certainly won't be, and frankly, given his recent efforts, he looks a little leniently priced to notch.
