The last remaining unbeaten home record in the Premier League is on the line on Monday night, as Sunderland host lowly Burnley at the Stadium of Light. 

Sunderland have been one of the success stories of the Premier League season so far. Despite being heavily tipped to make an immediate return to the Championship, Regis Le Bris's men have defied expectations and currently have a massive 13 gap over the sides in the relegation places. Barring a massive late season caollapse, the Black Cats look set to comfortably retain their place in the top flight. 

Top flight survival is looking far less likely for Burnley. They are currently ten points from safety and realistically need to win around half of their remaining 15 games to have any chance of survival. That looks an especially stepp task when you consider the fact that the Clarets have now gone over three months without picking up a victory.

Our Sunderland vs Burnley Prediction

Burnley looked doomed to relegation, but they have actually been playing pretty well in recent weeks.

Draws against Spurs, Liverpool and Manchester United show that Scott Parker's men are still battling hard, so we think they have every chance of picking up another point at the Stadium of Light.
