The English Premier League returns after the international break and there's a few tasty fixtures in store. One such match is the EPL clash between Sunderland and Brighton & Hove Albion. The Seagulls have enjoyed a great start to their 26/27 campaign, winning three and drawing one of their five league games so far. As for the Black Cats, their record on paper is less impressive, winning just one from five, but their performances generally have been decent. Last season, Sunderland made the Stadium of Light somewhat of a difficult place to visit, winning nine and drawing six of their 19 home games.

This is likely to be a tight affair. Brighton won the corresponding fixture last season by a goal to nil, with the game at the AMEX ending in a goalless draw. Aside from Sunderland's last league outing, a 5-3 defeat to Manchester City, the Mackems don't tend to concede many. In fact, before the City match, they'd only conceded three goals across their previous four games, keeping two clean sheets in the process. Brighton have been scoring for fun in recent weeks, but this game is unlikely to yield many goals.

For our prediction, we're looking at the Over/Under market. Despite Brighton's swashbuckling start to the season, they'll likely find it hard to break down Sunderland's organised defence. We think they'll be less than 2.5 goals scored in this one.
