Relegated Southampton finish off their miserable Premier League season with a home fixture against second placed Arsenal. The Gunners secure their place in next season's Champions League thanks to a narrow 1-0 victory over Newcastle last weekend. Despite that, it has been another slightly disappointing season for Mikel Arteta's side, as a lack of consistency put paid to their Premier League title hopes and a lacklustre first leg performance saw them fall to PSG in the semi finals of the Champions League.
For Southampton, the end of the season cannot come soon enough. Sunday's 2-0 loss at Everton was their 29th of the campaign, and it has now been over six months since they recorded a victory at St Mary's. A big Summer lies ahead for the Saints, as they seem certain to lose several key players and are yet to appoint a new manager to replace Ivan Juric.
