The ATP 250 tournament continues this week with the round of 32! In this match, the American crowd will witness a clash between Italy's Lorenzo Sonego and local American player Stefan Dostanic as they battle it out for a place in the round of 16.
As the top seed, Lorenzo Sonego enters the tournament directly in the round of 32. Although he hasn't really made a name for himself in the 2025 season, the Italian has managed to climb a few places in the ATP rankings and re-enter the top 35, which he had dropped out of since 2021. This promising result should have given him a boost of confidence for the season. After a strong run at Wimbledon, where he reached the round of 16 and gave top 10 player Ben Shelton a run for his money, Sonego has yet to string together two consecutive wins on hard courts this summer, but he did manage to win his first round in Toronto against Y. Bu and then in Cincinnati against Zizou Bergs.
Stefan Dostanic, meanwhile, has the chance to play in front of his home crowd in this American tournament, but he is much more accustomed to playing in Challengers. The level of this round of 32 should be a little different and certainly a little tricky if he hopes to win
