On Monday, August 18, tennis fans are in for a spectacular show at the Cincinnati Masters 1000 final! The two best players of the season, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, will face off for the fourth time this year in a bid to win the title at this prestigious American tournament. 

Both players have arrived at the Cincinnati tournament in virtually the same form. Since their historic duel in the Wimbledon Grand Slam final on July 13, they have both chosen to stay away from the tennis courts for a few weeks.

Back in the United States, Jannik Sinner arrived with an extra trophy in his luggage, having defeated the Spaniard in the London tournament with a score of 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4. This flawless domination should have helped him overcome his defeat in the French Open Grand Slam final in June.

Although their match lasted more than five hours, the Italian was unable to overturn the Spaniard's dominance on clay. But on this hard court, the story should be different, as the 24-year-old has the advantage on this surface this year. Winner of the Australian Open Grand Slam at the beginning of the year, he should give his all to put himself in the best possible position ahead of the upcoming US Open, where he is the defending champion.
