The Seattle Storm will take on the Dallas Wings Monday, May 19, in Arlington at College Park Center. Tipoff for this matchup of two winless teams is scheduled for 8 p.m. EST.
Dallas was part of Opening Night on Friday, but faced an excellent Minnesota Lynx team. The first half was pretty competitive, with Dallas leading by two after the first. Minnesota was able to tie it up by the end of the half and took charge of the game in the third, outscoring the Wings 35-20 en route to a 99-84 win. Seattle’s season opener vs. the Phoenix Mercury went a much different way. The Mercury took charge from the start, getting out to a 23-15 lead after the first and never looked back; Phoenix won, 81-59.
Arikle Ogunbowale led the Wings with 16 points, followed by DiJonai Carrington with 15. No. 1 draft pick Paige Bueckers only hit three of her ten shots and went 4-4 from the line for ten points in her WNBA debut. Skylar Diggins led the way for Seattle with 21 point,s followed by Nneka Ogwumike with 12; no other player scored in double digits for the Storm.

Our Dallas Wings vs Seattle Storm Prediction
Neither team’s offense has much of an identity after one game. Skylar Diggins got almost no help from her team in the opener. Dallas didn’t have anyone who took charge on the offensive end, but they did have five players score in double digits. Based on what we saw in their respective season openers, I don’t have any faith in the Seattle offense. I don’t know who will lead the charge for Dallas, but they will find a way to generate points.
