The Seattle Sounders will be confident of continuing their impressive run of form when they host struggling San Diego FC at Lumen Field on Saturday night.
The Sounders are unbeaten in their last seven MLS games, but they will have been disappointed to have dropped two points at bottom side Sporting Kansas City last weekend. Prior to that, Seattle had been on a six game winning run, so HC Brian Schmetzer will be keen to get back to winning ways and ensure that his side do not lose any of their impressive early-season momentum.
San Diego started the campaign with three consecutive victories, but since then, it has been downhill all the way for Mikey Varas's team and they have picked up just three points from their subsequent eight games.
