The Seattle Seahawks will close the 2024 NFL season out with a trip to Los Angeles to face the Rams. But since the Rams have already wrapped up the NFC South division title, it will be more of a game against the Rams B-team.
Sean McVay is expected to sit many of his starters for the game with nothing on the line and a playoff game next week. Jimmy Garappolo has been confirmed as the starting quarterback for the game, meaning Matthew Stafford will have the day off. That change alone changes the outlook for the Rams offense significantly. But it would be surprising to see Kyren Williams, Puka Nacua, or Cooper Kupp for long, if at all. That change has resulted in a dramatic shift in the line at at least one sportsbook. DraftKings had the Rams listed as 2.5-point favorites but have the Seahawks as 6.5-point favorites, with Garoppolo set to start for the Rams.
Of course, how long or if certain players enter the game at all may depend on whether they still have a shot at the No. 3 seed and/or who they’ll play in the wildcard round.

If Jimmy G has Puka Nacua, Cooper Kupp, and/or Kyren Williams available for even a half, the Rams could put up a heck of a fight. However, we may not know their status until shortly before kickoff. However, I don’t expect to see the Seahawks light up the scoreboard no matter who the Rams play. Consequently, the best play for this game is the UNDER.
