They were held to just 52 yards on the ground and turned the ball over 3 times in the loss. The 9ers racked up over 225 rushing yards against the Seattle defense. This was the 3rd game in a row that they allowed over 100 yards on the ground and likely correlates with the losses. The Falcons are on the other side of things as they won their 3rd straight game last weekend. Their 38-20 victory over the Panthers was a nice win after winning their previous two by just 8 total points. They were able to find success on the ground as they accumulated almost 200 rushing yards. The defense forced 2 turnovers and held the Panthers to just 5/11 on 3rd down. At 4-2, the Falcons now sit atop the NFC South standings. They hold the tiebreaker over the Bucs who they defeated just weeks ago. At 3-3, the Seahawks are right behind the Niners in the NFC West but will need to win their next meeting with them to avoid being blocked out of the tiebreaker.
