The Seattle Kraken (5-6-1 SU, 6-6 ATS) visit the Boston Bruins (5-6-1 SU, 3-9 ATS) looking to put an end to their misery on the Northeastern swing. The Kraken took two thumping losses to Toronto and Ottawa as they finished the eastern Canada swing, and things get no easier with Boston next on the slate.
The good news for the Kraken is that the Bruins aren’t playing well at the moment either. Boston’s offense has been very poor through October, as the Bruins got shut out twice and held to two goals or less on five occasions. When Boston can get to three goals, it usually wins the game, but getting there in the first place is not easy. However, the lack of travel provides Boston with a solid edge.

Seattle has really looked lost over the past two games. Hitting Montreal for eight goals was an encouraging sign, but things just went downhill from there. The Kraken have scored one goal or less in three of four games, which isn’t promising against a home team that needs a get-right game.
Boston has to be better than it’s been recently, but it is coming off a 3-0 win over Philadelphia. And while the Flyers aren’t exactly world beaters, reversing a recent result is usually a sign of progress. With the Kraken really struggling right now to get anything positive going at the other net, a couple goals might be enough to make the difference. Our prediction for Seattle vs. Boston is for the Bruins to win.
