The main event for this weekend’s UFC Fight Night will be a battle of top 5 middleweight contenders. The #3-ranked Sean Strickland is finally back after a suspension and will face the #4-ranked Anthony Hernandez, who has taken this middleweight division by storm.
Strickland’s last fight was a unanimous decision loss to Du Plessis in a rematch fight. Things have been shaky for Strickland over the last 2 years. He pulled off what many thought would be impossible by defeating Israel Adesanya to win the title in the middle of 2023. After that, he lost the title in his 1st defense against Du Plessis.
