Golden State Valkyries will look to take another step towards the 2026 WNBA Finals when they host Las Vegas Aces in Game 2 on Wednesday night at Chase Center. The Valkyries brushed aside the Wings to book a date with the Aces in a best-of-five series. They produced another defensive masterclass in Game 1 to defeat the Aces 71-60 with Gabby Williams tallying 25 points and 11 rebounds. The Valkyries will be keen to take a comfortable lead in this contest ahead of Game 3 in Las Vegas on Sunday.
Las Vegas Aces, meanwhile, will want to play much better than they did in the series opener. The Aces struggled to produce results offensively, once again highlighting their overreliance on A’ja Wilson. The center, who is a huge favorite to win the 2026 WNBA MVP, tallied a match-high of 24 points and five rebounds. That’s lower than the 26.2 points she averaged during the regular season. The Aces will want to bounce back with a dominant performance tonight.
