Dallas Wings (8-5) versus Las Vegas Aces (10-3) is a Western Conference clash on Monday night at College Park. The Wings failed to build on their 85-70 win over Phoenix Mercury after narrowly losing to Portland Fire 84-83 on Saturday night. It was a back-and-forth battle all night that saw the Fire win courtesy of an Emily Engstler free throw with just two seconds to play. The Wings will want to dust themselves up quickly and get a statement win against the Aces.
The Aces, meanwhile, have been on a rampage this season. They defeated Minnesota Lynx 100-97 on Saturday night to take the top spot in the Western Conference. It was a statement win for the Aces, who are keen to show their hunger for the championship despite winning three of the last four Finals. A’ja Wilson was once again instrumental in their win over the Lynx, scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. They should be feeling very confident right now.
