Surprise Europa League table toppers FC Midtjylland face their toughest test so far on Thursday, as they take on in-form Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.
Midtjylland are the only side in the competition with a 100% record after four games and are firmly on course for a first ever appearance in the last 16 of a European tournament. In their previous Europa League game, Midtjylland cruised to a 3-1 success over Celtic thanks to an astonishing first half burst of three goals in just eight minutes.
Roma also defeated Scottish opposition in their last Europa League match, easing to a 0-2 victory over Rangers at Ibrox. The Italians have also been in excellent form domestically over the last few weeks. The weekend win at Cremonese was their fourth in five games, and Gian Piero Gasperini's men currently have a two point lead at the top of the Serie A standings.
