Robert Whittaker (27-9-0) and Nikita Krylov (31-11-0) will meet in the UFC Light Heavyweight division on Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Whittaker will be desperate to bounce back from his recent defeats against Khamsat Chimaev and Reinier de Ridder. The 35-year-old former Middleweight kingpin will be making his debut in the new division as he looks to get off to a strong start. “The Reaper” is the -132 betting favorite this weekend.
Nikita Krylov, on the other hand, is a 35-year-old Russian fighter who joined the franchise in August 2013. “The Miner” will be looking to build some much-needed winning momentum after defeating Modestas Bukauskas at UFC 324 via a Round 3 KO punch. This was an important win for the veteran fighter, considering he had earlier lost to Dominick Reyes and Bogdan Guskov in Round 1 through KO punches. This could be the biggest scrap of his career.

Our money is on Whittaker to win on his Light Heavyweight debut. The Australian favorite believes that he can be successful in a higher weight class and will be keen to impress this weekend. The former Middleweight star will have the speed advantage and is known for maintaining his kicking distance before overwhelming his opponents with killer punches. However, it’s worth mentioning that Krylov will have a slight height and reach advantage. That shouldn’t be the main deciding factor, though, given that Whittaker has previously faced similar challenges against accomplished names like Adesanya. He should win it via KO/TKO if he avoids Krylov’s big punches and knee kicks this weekend.
